Epic scale French Light Cavalry

 

2nd Lasalle Brigade - or more likely two smaller ones: 7e Régiment de Hussards and 3e / 4e Régiments de Chevaux-légers from the Cavalry brigades of I Corps.

Oddly Lasalle has the lancers as a reserve (ie sent from army assets) unit but they were part of the Corps just like the Hussar and Chasseur-a-Cheval. In Lasalle, Lancers get +1 vs Infantry squares… just enough to make it an even fight.

Next up I’ve been told to paint some British so it‘s Kempt’s 8th Brigade. It’s going to be a challenge to paint those Cameron Highlanders!
